An AC/DC - tribute

The LoveHungryMen have existed since 2002, the current line-up since the fall of 2003. With energetic shows, a bit of humour and their ability to be true to the original AC/DC-songs, they are well known around Norway & partially Germany !! With the charismatic Åge Young on vocals the LoveHungryMen do songs from the whole of AC/DC's looong life of excellent rock'n'roll !! Maybe with a little favourite in Bon Scott... But the LoveHungryMen have no problem doing newer stuff as well. 

Back in 2002 a couple of guys met at a jam at Loftet, Askøy. They hooked up and played some old AC/DC-hits, which were well recieved amongst the audience. Shortly after they decided to keep doing these old AC/DC-songs, it was so much fun ! When summer came, the LoveHungryMen was a reality and did some local gigs. Back then with Kjetil Larsen playing the bass. In the summer of 2003 the LoveHungryMen hooked up with Tronna, and he became their new man on the bass. Since then they've done some 40+ shows around, mostly in the west of Norway. But during the spring of 2005, the LoveHungryMen did 8 shows i Germany. For the first time Germany got to see the LoveHungryMen !! The band had a fantastic time, doing great shows at some very cool clubs and meeting a lot of cool people. Hopefully there will soon be a new tour coming...!!

With a couple of hundreds of songs to choose from, the LoveHungryMen has more than enough material to do live. And with the new AC/DC-release, "Black Ice", they have even more...! The LoveHungryMen have set their aim to be as true to the original AC/DC as possible. However they think that there have to be a special LoveHungryMen-vibe to the songs, without wreckening the originals. They may have some more favourites from the Bon Scott-era, but the LoveHungryMen do both the well known hits as "Back In Black", "Highway To Hell", "Thunderstruck" & "Let There Be Rock", and songs that AC/DC rarely do live like "Can I Sit Next To You Girl", "Lets Get It Up" & "Sink The Pink". With the charismatic Åge Young on vocals and the energetic Tarje 'Angus' Gjerken on lead guitar, the LoveHungryMen deliver notorious shows. And with the steady rhythm-section, including Glenn 'Malcolm' Davanger on rhythm guitar, Kenneth Steinfeld at the drums & Tronna 'Cliff' Bergsvik on bass, they have no problem doing AC/DC-songs from the whole of AC/DC's 35 years as makers of excellent rock'n'roll !!
